Diwali Celebrations at Ridrol

दीपावली — the Festival of Lights — was celebrated with great devotion at Shri Ramji Mandir Ridrol in November 2024. Devotees from Ridrol and surrounding villages gathered to honour Lord Ram and welcome light, prosperity, and positivity into their lives.

The Significance of Diwali

Diwali marks the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. At Shri Ramji Mandir, we celebrate this victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. The festival also honours Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, and is a time for families to come together in prayer and celebration.

Our Diwali Program

• Special Morning Aarti — Devotees gathered at dawn for Lakshmi Puja and Ram Aarti.
• Diya Lighting — Hundreds of earthen lamps (diyas) were lit around the temple, creating a mesmerising glow.
• Community Prasad — Traditional sweets and prasad were distributed to all attendees.
• Bhajan & Kirtan — Evening sessions of devotional singing brought the community together in spiritual harmony.
